I help people at every stage of life build wealth and mitigate the risks that come with the financial future they envision. Whether you are starting from the ground up or seeking to preserve a legacy you have already created, I am here to support you.
That’s why my practice focuses on two key commitments:
- To make wealth planning approachable for people just like me, who are building their financial futures from the ground up, so that you have the opportunity to take control of your money with clarity and confidence.
- To form a long-term relationship with established clients who are seeking to grow, preserve, and thoughtfully transition the wealth they’ve built over decades to the next generation by blending fresh, modern-day investing approaches with time-tested strategies.
My drive comes from a lifelong passion for personal finances and building meaningful personal relationships. From a young age I have always set goals for my money and planned to achieve them. Growing up around parents and grandparents who were great stewards of their resources taught me the importance of managing my money successfully and ethically.
My grandfather, Brian Velthoen, thrived in real estate, while my father, Rick Countryman, served as Senior Pastor of Big Valley Grace Community Church for many years. Both men modeled graceful, caring community leadership that shaped how I serve presently. Today, I am actively involved in the Big Valley Grace community that my father helped build.
A Modesto native, I graduated from Big Valley Christian High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Montana State University. My time away from home in the Treasure State refined me into who I am today, sharpened my life skills, and set me firmly on the path I’m pursuing. Now, my wife, Zoë, and I live in Modesto and are building our life here, where I am dedicated to serving my clients with genuine care, unwavering integrity, and full responsibility.
